Pricing
Initial Pelvic Floor Consultation (60 minutes)
$204
Your initial pelvic floor consultation is a comprehensive assessment designed to understand your symptoms, health history and goals. These appointments are conducted by our pelvic health physiotherapists, who have postgraduate qualifications in pelvic health.
The session typically includes:
- A detailed discussion of your concerns and medical history
- Education around pelvic floor and core function
- A physical assessment where appropriate
- Guidance on treatment options and next steps
This appointment is suitable for those experiencing pelvic floor symptoms, as well as pre and postnatal clients seeking specialised assessment and support.
Please note: Your first pelvic floor appointment must be an initial consultation, even if you have attended the studio previously.
Subsequent Pelvic Floor Appointments
Subsequent Pelvic Floor – Standard (40 minutes)
$165
Following your initial consultation, standard follow-up appointments allow us to reassess symptoms, continue treatment and progress your personalised care plan. These sessions focus on education, hands-on treatment where appropriate, and tailored exercise progression.
Subsequent Pelvic Floor – Extended (60 minutes)
$194
If your concerns are more complex or require additional treatment time, an extended follow-up appointment may be recommended. This allows your physiotherapist more time to address symptoms thoroughly and adjust your treatment plan as needed.
Prenatal Appointments vs Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy
Prenatal Initial (Pilates Screening)
A prenatal initial appointment is designed for clients preparing to begin pilates classes during pregnancy. This session includes:
- General health and exercise history
- Musculoskeletal assessment
- Education around pelvic floor, core and safe exercise in pregnancy
If specific pelvic floor concerns are identified, a pelvic floor physiotherapy appointment may be recommended.
Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy Appointment
Pelvic floor physiotherapy appointments are more in-depth and are designed to address specific pelvic health concerns, including:
- Pre and postnatal pelvic floor support and recovery
- Prolapse
- Urinary or faecal incontinence
- Pelvic pain or painful intercourse
- Abdominal separation
- Post-prostatectomy recovery (men)
- Guidance for safe return to exercise
A Calm, Respectful Approach
We understand pelvic health can be a sensitive topic. Our physiotherapists provide a supportive, professional environment where your comfort and dignity are always prioritised. You are encouraged to ask questions, move at your own pace, and feel informed throughout your care.
At Sum of Us Studio, physiotherapy is centred around one core principle: movement is fundamental to health and wellbeing.
Our physiotherapists work to help you move comfortably, recover from injury and improve how your body functions over the long term. Rather than simply treating symptoms, we focus on understanding the underlying factors influencing pain, mobility and performance.
Located at 602 High St, Prahran, our studio supports clients across Melbourne’s inner south including Prahran, Windsor, South Yarra, Armadale, Toorak, Malvern, Glen Iris and Caulfield.
Whether you’re managing pain, recovering from surgery, preparing for sport or improving your overall movement, our physiotherapy team provides evidence-based care tailored to your individual needs.
Physiotherapy Focused on How Your Body Moves
At Sum of Us Studio, physiotherapy begins with understanding how your body moves as a system.
Pain and injury rarely occur in isolation. They often develop because of movement patterns, strength imbalances, mobility restrictions or previous injuries.
By identifying the underlying contributors to pain or dysfunction, we can guide treatment that supports both short-term relief and long-term movement health.
A Holistic Approach to Physiotherapy Care
All physiotherapy at Sum of Us Studio is delivered by experienced practitioners trained in comprehensive assessment and evidence-based treatment.
Every treatment plan is personalised, taking into account your goals, lifestyle and physical capacity.
This integrated approach helps clients recover effectively while building resilience against future injuries.

What Our Physio Clients Are Saying
Last week I had a bad back spasm that left me struggling to move and in a lot of discomfort. I reached out to Chris at Sum of Us in Prahran, where Darcy looked after me, and the care was excellent. They quickly worked out what was going on and treated it with real professionalism. Thanks to their help, I'm back on my feet and feeling good again. Highly recommend Chris, Darcy, and the Sum of Us team if you need help getting moving again.

Tracey - Google Review - 5 stars
Had an incredible physio session at Sum of Us. I felt genuinely listened to and cared for. My physiotherapist Emily took the time to understand my concerns and tailored the session to exactly what my body needed. The space itself is calm, clean, and beautifully designed. I left feeling informed, supported, and so much better than when I walked in.
