Profile

Deana holds a Masters of Physiotherapy and a Post Graduate Certificate in Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy. As a physiotherapist and clinical Pilates instructor, she specialises in women’s and pelvic health, with a strong focus on movement-based rehabilitation, particularly for pre and postnatal populations.

Pilates principles underpin her approach to improving strength, mobility and core stability, complemented by her training in dry needling for musculoskeletal pain. Deana is passionate about empowering clients through education and regularly runs prenatal workshops to support women through pregnancy and beyond.

With a background in dance and further qualifications in pre-pointe assessment and training, she has extensive experience working with young dancers. She also has significant experience managing osteoarthritis and has trained in and coordinated the GLA:D® program. Deana joined the Sum of Us team in 2021.
