Deana has a Masters of Physiotherapy and Post Graduate Certificate of Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy and. As a physiotherapist and clinical pilates instructor, her passion is in women’s and pelvic health. She has a strong belief in movement based rehabilitation and particularly enjoys working with the pre and postnatal populations

The principles of Pilates play a large role in her practice to improve strength, mobility and core stability, as well as having training in the use of dry needling to treat musculoskeletal pain. Deana is motivated by empowering clients through education and runs our quarterly prenatal workshops. She believes in using an individual and holistic approach to help all of her patients achieve their goals.

In addition to women’s and pelvic health, Deana has a background in dancing and has further qualifications in pre-pointe assessment and training. She has loved working with young dancers over her career as a physio to reach their highest potential. She has also had extensive experience in the management of osteoarthritis and has trained in and coordinated the GLA:D program before joining the Sum of Us Team in 2021.

In her spare time she loves keeping active and you’ll find her in the ballet studio or running with her sister by the beach or the Yarra.
She comes from a big Italian family so loves cooking fresh and delicious meals, baking cheeky treats and can chat for days.
